The Fighting Jamesons deliver the spirit of traditional Irish music with an aggressive, high-energy modern edge. Blending Celtic instrumentation with the power and attitude of rock ’n’ roll, the band has built a reputation for explosive live performances that turn every venue into a celebration.

Formed in 2010, The Fighting Jamesons quickly established a strong presence along the East Coast before taking their music nationwide. Over the years, they have crisscrossed the country, performing in every corner of the United States and sharing the stage with legendary Irish rock acts including Dropkick Murphys, The Saw Doctors, and Young Dubliners.

The band released its self-titled debut album in 2011, followed by the 2014 sophomore album Every Day Above Ground, both produced and engineered by Capitol Records recording artist Mark Padgett. That same year, The Fighting Jamesons were honored with the Irish Music Award for Top Celtic Rock Band.

Since then, the band has continued to evolve—releasing two live albums and several singles while bringing its rowdy, relentlessly energetic live show to festivals, theaters, clubs, and venues across the country. More than a decade after forming, The Fighting Jamesons remain committed to pushing Celtic rock forward without losing sight of the music and traditions that inspired them.
